This message closes out our series on the Names of God, and focuses on the Lord our Shepherd. In Psalm 23, we meet the God who guides and leads us into green pastures and beside still waters, even as we walk through valley of the shadow of death. This Psalm is also a picture of the gospel, of Jesus our Good Shepherd, who came to find and rescue us.

In this message we explore how God challenges Abraham to surrender the thing he values most, and how that surrender becomes the doorway to God's miraculous provision. We see that this is the pattern God calls us to embrace: surrender that leads to His provision, ultimately pointing us to Jesus, whose sacrifice on the cross makes God's greatest provision possible.

In this fourth message of our Knowing God series, we explore the meaning of God’s promise, “I am the Lord, who heals you,” first spoken to Israel after He made the bitter waters of Marah drinkable. While it promised healing and restoration to God’s people then, the New Testament reveals it as a picture of God’s continuing desire to heal and restore all who place their trust in Jesus.
