Sundays are a really wonderful time to come together as a church family. We gather to worship, to hear God’s word, to pray and to be transformed by his presence.
We aim to create a relaxed, friendly environment which is easy to step into if you are new. Often there is food of some description either before or after the meeting because we believe that eating together is a great way of building relationships. We want to include and welcome people of all generations and backgrounds including children.
Our gatherings are all in English, but when the children go out for their own time, they are in both Dutch and English.
Kids at Redeemer
For Ages 0–3
We have two play spaces available for babies and toddlers during our services.
At the back of the worship space, you’ll find a play mat and a selection of toys, so your little one can play while you stay close to the service.
If your child is unsettled or needs a little more space, you’re also welcome to use the café area at the back of the auditorium, where there is another play space available. The café has audio, so you can still listen and follow along with the service while your child plays.
Redeemer Kids (4-12)
Redeemer Kids runs 3 weeks out of 4 for children age 4-12
Redeemer Kids starts after the worship when the children go to their own space with the Redeemer Kids team. They have time together having fun, getting to know each other and learning about how wonderful Jesus is.
This year we are using the The Biggest Story curriculum. These engaging lesson materials are designed to teach kids Bible stories that will help them understand God’s plan to redeem the world through his Son, Jesus.
On the weeks when Redeemer Kids isn’t running, parents and carers have the opportunity to lead the session themselves, with all the materials and resources provided. This is a great opportunity to spend time together as a family, explore faith and have fun learning about God.
Where do we meet?
We meet at the Bergsingelkerk on the Bergsingel on Sunday afternoons.
Come and join us for coffee from 14:30, with our worship service running from 15:00–16:30.
The church is a 20 minute walk or a 15 minute tram ride from Rotterdam Central Station.
Street parking is available for both cars and bikes.
